Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Department: Project Management Office (PMO)
Location: Home Based
Reporting to: Head of Delivery
Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Job Role

The senior project manager is responsible for (and has extensive experience with) the management of a large retail contract rollout. The project manager will identify project goals, objectives and scope. Planning, monitoring & documenting tasks throughout the project lifecycle.

Job purpose

In this exciting role, you will deliver this key project for our valued partners and retail customers. You will work alongside key stakeholders to initiate, plan, design, execute and transition each element. The project manager will maintain risk logs and implement contingency plans to protect the project and that of the business. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating, managing, and maintaining the project plan.
  • Identifying resources required and assigning individual responsibilities
  • P&L management associated with the project to track cost against budget
  • Customer meetings & reviews attending customers sites when necessary
  • Providing reports for accurate forecasting of revenue for invoicing purposes
  • Acting as a point of escalation when necessary or requested
  • Ensuring the highest quality standards are met whilst ensuring the key deliverables of the project are delivered to a high standard
  • Coordinating the resources of Cameo to deliver projects effectively.
  • Maintaining change control logs with records and impact assessments of all changes introduced during the project lifecycle.
  • Managing the Service Transition aspects of projects

  • Proven experience in retail project management, preferably within the ICT industry.
  • Experience of people management
  • Experience of using industry project toolsets or Excel to manage project delivery
  • Knowledge of sales and billing cycles/processes
  • Excellent understanding of Risk and Issue management with demonstrable practical experience
  • Excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders
  • Prince2 certification
  • ITILv4
  • Technical experience and background of delivering large scalable projects working with multiple technology stacks and vendors.
  • APM Project Management  
  • Logistics planning
  • Process improvement, finding ways to improve processes and develop new processes.
  • Proficient with visio
  • Responsible for the delivery of multiple projects with high complexity
  • Experience of networking, LAN / WAN & Wi-Fi solutions.

Salary Range

  • up to £65k (Experience Dependant)
